He has interests in the renewable energy sector and is involved in the sugar industry (Core Green Sugars) and co-generation of power.

He worked for Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL) and has over 40 years of experience in techno-commercial operations and maintenance of large and small hydro power projects. He has vast experience in construction, inspection, testing, and commissioning of power equipment and oversees the technical performance of the company’s hydro power projects.

With over 25 years of experience, he has handled roles in Technical Services, Project Development (Concept to Implementation), Corporate Development, and Systems Implementation across sectors like Fertilizers, Infrastructure, and Renewable Energy.

Mr. S.N. Subramaniam was a key advisor for the PHEPL & NHEPL projects. With over 40 years of experience, he has worked on various hydroelectric projects like Baira-Sul and Salal Projects (NHPC) and with Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL). He specializes in Hydrology, Project Planning, Design of Dams, Tunnels, Penstocks, and other structures, and is currently the MD of Bangalore Hydro Engineers & Consultants Pvt Ltd (BHEC).
